In 2020, Shopify was looking for ways to engage with the influx of merchants who turned to e-commerce during Covid. They needed a new way to teach these merchants lessons that often took years to learn.

In April 2022, Shopify held a Dev Meetup in NY and asked me to be part of a panel alongside an app developer and a theme developer!

I was asked to interview CTO of Thinx, Branden Hastings for a partnership with Modern Retail. We talked about going Headless, hiring a tech team, and the power of referrals!

I was asked to join the stage at Shopify Unite 2023 in Toronto as the Agency representative! I took part in a Q&A with Thomas Kelly, CEO, Archetype Themes and Gil Greenberg, Founder, Checkout Promotions. We were interviewed by Shopify's VP of Engineering, Dion Almaer.

Shopify reached out to me to be on a panel of 3 Agency leads to answer questions and discuss our (and our clients') experience with Shopify and some of the new features released. We were moderated by the Head of Product and spoke to a group of 300+ Shopify engineers, product managers, UX researchers and more.

During Covid, restuarants had to pivot to survive. A lot of them turned to more unique revenue streams and that led to a huge growth in e-commerce for those same brands. That trend is only getting stronger. With the help of Klaviyo and Shopify, we organized an event where restaurants could meet people in the industry and learn from a panel of experts the power of commerce to a growing restaurant.

At an event in NY, Shopify invited me back to speak on a panel, presenting to the product leadership team. We covered current pain points as well as new features and upcoming releases.
